The Winnipeg Blue Bombers brought the Grey Cup up to Thompson yesterday.
Jacqueline Dirksen with the Winnipeg Football Club says Thompsonites were happy that the team brought the cup up to the city and that they were able to take pictures with it.
Some of the players were also in town as a part of an anti-bullying campaign at the local schools.
The Grey Cup is heading back down to southern Manitoba for a rural tour, but will be up in Flin Flon and The Pas on Monday.
This past November was the first time since 1990 that the Bombers won the Grey Cup Championship.
