The Pas Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Saturday evening. The call came in around 5 o clock of a small truck on fire near a housing complex on Tremauden Avenue.

The vehicle was a complete loss but the fire crews had the fire under control and extinguished in 15 minutes.

There were no reports of injuries and there was no damage to any of the surrounding structures.

The RCMP issued a report that four people were arrested in connection to the fire three of which were released without charge and a 34 year old man is expected to be charged with arson.
