Riley Manych the son of The Pas Fire Chief Randy Manych is trying to raise money so he can assist putting out wildfires in Australia.

The plan is to work on the front lines for about six months as a direct suppression fire fighter.

Several fundraiser efforts have been put together.

His Go Fund Me fundraiser made over 3000 dollars as well as over 1100 dollars in personal donations.

The goal is to raise at least $30,000.
