As 2019 comes to a close The Pas Mayor Herb Jacques spoke to Arctic Radio about what they are hoping to accomplish in the New Year.

Jacques says there are a number of capital items that have already been budgeted in 2019 and 2018 which they hope to finish.

Jacques says they would like to get the streets looking better and they hope to re instill community pride.

The plan is to tender 1.6 Million dollars from gas tax so the streets can be fixed without impacting resident’s taxes.
