Mary Sayese who works as a receptionist for the Beatrice Wilson Health Centre just got back from a 4 month long adventure in Peru.

She took part in the Canada World Youth International Aboriginal Youth Internship program where she built ecological kitchens and community gardens in a small community.

One of highlights of the trip was all the friends that she made that supported her when times were tough.

The goal of the program was to bring indigenous communities together to share their experiences and the program is expected to be offered sometime next year.
