Vaughn Wadelius the Chair of the Kelsey School Division spoke to Arctic Radio News about the engineering report addressing the ongoing drainage issues and the poor condition of Wadelius Drive.

The board received the first draft of the engineers report recently and it was discussed at their board meeting earlier this week. The final report should be received very soon and the board plans to meet with the town once the report is finalized.

One of the draw backs to repairing the road is that the department of education has put a freeze on capital projects until after the education review comes out next year, This would also prohibit the School Division from raising funds independently for such projects.
