Members from Look North were present at Tuesday Night’s Committee of Whole Meeting at The Pas Municipal Building.

 

Look North is an economic development strategy focused on growing Northern Manitoba economically.

 

Oswald Sawh from the Communities Economic Development Fund the lead entity for the delivery of Look North spoke at the meeting and The Pas Mayor and Council to talk about the program and how they would like to work with mayor and council to deliver the program.

 

Jim Scott, an Economic Development Advisor for Look North told Arctic Radio News that they are interested in listening to ideas from residents on how to build the community economically.

 

He added that if you have an idea for a small business or another idea for growing the local economy they can help you to develop your idea.
