An open house was held at The Kelsey Recreation and Wellness Centre on Tuesday night for The Kelsey Planning Districts Development Plan.

One of the goals of this development plan is to help with growth and change, and to ensure that the Tri Area keeps growing as a service centre for Northern Manitoba.

The open house gave people the opportunity to learn about the plan and to ask any questions or bring up concerns that they had.

A community open house was for this project was also held back in the spring and people were asked what the planning district should focus on and over 50 percent of respondents wanted the Planning District to focus on improving the image of the downtown area and streetscaping.
