Niki Ashton is returning to Ottawa as a four-term Member of Parliament.

Ashton won her seat for the Churchill Keewatinook Aski riding by defeating Judy Klassen of the Liberals, Cyara Bird of the Conservatives, Ken Klyne of the Peoples’ Party of Canada and Ralph McLean of the Green Party.

Nationally, the Liberals came away with a minority government.
