The Business, Citizen, and Neighbour of the Year Award winners have been announced.
The Business of the Year Award went to Northern Lights, Dollar and More, a business that was recognized for opening their doors after hours when something needs to be done, along with making donations to groups that need help, and for having friendly staff.
Brenda and Lawrence Garand received the Neighbor of the Year award in recognition for helping neighbours to mow lawns and to house sit.
The Citizen of the Year award went to Linda Michelle a local nurse that worked to bring the Bear Clan to The Pas.
There will be a special luncheon at the Kikiwak Inn on Oct 26th to celebrate the award winners from 1-3PM. Tickets are 20 dollars and they can be purchased at CJAR, Opasquia Times, or by calling 204-623-7256.
