With flu season underway, the Northern Health Region and Manitoba Health, Seniors, and Active Living are encouraging everyone to get their flu shot.
The NHR says the annual flu vaccine is especially important for those at an increased risk of serious illness from the flu, including people age 65 and older, children six to 59 months of age, those with chronic illness, and pregnant women.
Residents of The Pas and area will be able to get their flu shots this Thursday at the Legion from 10 AM until 5:30 PM, and clinics will be held at the Roy H Johnston Arena on October 28th, November 4th and the 18th from 1PM until 5:30 PM
People who are planning to get their flu shot are reminded to bring their Manitoba Health Card.
