Today is the eleventh annual Burgers to Beat MS fundraiser at A&W
MS is an auto-immune disease of the central nervous system that affects the brain and spinal cord. Canada has one of the highest rates of disease in the world.
Two dollars from every teen burger sold will go towards the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, which will be used for MS research and support programs.
Local A&W manger Drew Tritthart hopes to raise at least one thousand dollars locally and says people don’t have to buy teen burgers to donate to the cause they can make their own donations as well.
