Despite all the setbacks and delays The Town of The Pas officially has its own spray park which began operations for the first time earlier this month.
One of the issues that had to be fixed around the time the park opened was a faulty switch that would turn the water on at random.
The switch has since been fixed the park has drawn in children of all ages to cool off on hot summer days. It’s not known when the spray park will shut down for the winter.
The next step for The Pas BBC is to work on their skate park project and they are also going to work towards getting new fixtures and update equipment for Centennial Park.
