Ron Evans, The former chief of Norway House Cree nation will be running in the provincial election in our riding for the Progressive Conservative Party.
Evans is considered to be a leader for aboriginal peoples in Northern Manitoba and one of his main goals is growing the north.
He has an extensive political background already and was once elected as the youngest councillor in Norway Houses history.
An early election was called my Premier Pallister which will be held on September 10th.
