Opaskwayak Cree Nation is celebrating the successful completion of phase one of a critical network infrastructure upgrade.

Before this upgrade was made OCN had used an outdated network that could not provide the best technological and communication services to its members. The upgrade will allow for high speed internet, Wifi in public spaces, and an improved phone system to name a few.

A press conference was held in the O&O Chambers this morning where OCN Chief Christian Sinclair and Bell MTS Vice President Ryan Klassen spoke about the importance of this project.
