MLA Amanda Lathlin Says Health Care is out Number One Priority for the NDP's

A news letter sent out by local MLA Amanda Lathlin stated that health care is a number one priority.

According to Lathlin, Premier Brian Pallisters plan is failing and has nothing to do with improving health care for families in Northern Manitoba and he has made many cuts to health care in the north despite promising that he would not make such cuts.

If elected the NDP’s health care plan would focus on keeping families healthy and ensuring that people are able to see doctors and nurses closer to their home towns.

Despite the accusations of cuts being made to health care the provincial government has invested nearly 28 million dollars in health care capital projects across Manitoba’s health care system.

This funding will go towards Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning upgrades, Pharmacy Security upgrades, medical device reprocessing flooring upgrades, and flooring replacement at The Pas Health Complex.
