The Pas and District Chamber of Commerce and the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce had a two day economic development tour last week designed to showcase The Pas and area to delegates of various organizations and potential investors.

Delegates that attended the tour were selected by MCC and they took part in round table discussions and toured several local businesses and institutions.

The Pas and District Chamber of Commerce president Trent Allen Stated in a news release the economic tour was another key step in bringing greater visibility to what makes our region great and where we can see investment and growth.

He added that in speaking with the delegates there were many favourable impressions of the tri area and he looks forward to seeing what comes out of the efforts.
