MP Niki Ashton’s latest MP report stated that we can tackle climate change and create jobs.

In the upcoming weeks the NDP will lay out a plan for the environment and part of the plan is a commitment to retrofit all housing stock in the country by 2050.

Buildings are the third largest source of Canada’s GHG emissions every year and in order to reduce emissions a meaningful change is to improve existing building stock.

With these improvements families can save an average of almost $900 a year.
