A how to be an adult 101 course is being held at The Pas Friendship Centre on August 2nd. The course is being presented by Friendship Centre Youth Coordinator Holly Lajame from 5:30PM until 7:30 PM and the overall goal of the course is to prepare those that are leaving home for the first time and to help them avoid the pitfalls associated with adulthood. Lajame says that she meet a lot of young adults that didn’t know how to care for themselves.
The course will cover finances including budgeting and how to write a cheque, apartment hunting, safety, education, and life hacks including tips on how to get food and how to live cheaper.
The course itself is free and if you want more information call 204-623-1358
