Last week’s radio pledge show that CJAR ran for The Pas Health Complex Foundation was a big success. A total of forty thousand three hundred and twenty eight dollars and seventy cents was raised in the two days that they were on the air which included a twenty thousand dollar donation from a man in Kelowna BC.
The Pas Health Complex will be using the money raised to purchase beds for St Paul’s Personal Care Home. The care home needs a total of 60 beds which will cost a total of three hundred and ninety thousand dollars.
The beds have been ordered through the health complex and they are expected to be in place by mid October to late November. The foundation is anticipating more donations and they are still being accepted. If you would like to contribute you can mail your donations to box 541 or you can drop them off at Cooke and Cook Insurance.
