The Pas RCMP responded to an incident that took place in front of the post office on May 10^th just before 4:30PM.

It was reported that a suspect showed another person a weapon that appeared to be a firearm. It was later determined that it wasn’t a firearm and that it appeared to be a can of mace.

Due to the possibility of the weapon being a firearm the RCMP conducted a high risk arrest scenario.

No one was injured during this incident and the accused has been remanded on breach of probation and weapons charges.
