The Pas Friendship Centre recently announced that they have transferred The Oscars Place Homeless Shelter over to The Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation.
This arrangement will ensure continued operation of the homeless shelter in The Pas and the Friendship centre wishes The Manitoba housing And Renewal Corporation success moving forward.
Families minister Scott Fielding responded to this announcement by saying quote “everyone deserves a safe place to stay and we will continue to work with stakeholders to ensure adequate housing exists for Manitoba’s most vulnerable population.
