The Public Budget Consultation meeting for the Kelsey School Division on Monday Evening had a good turnout. The meeting gave people an idea of what is on the budget for the 2018-2019 school years and to give them a chance to have a say on where they think the school board should spend the money by filling out forms.

RM of Kelsey Reeve Rod Berezowecki was in attendance and he says he has no problem with the school board budget but he is concerned about the way the budget is proportioned to the ratepayers. He has asked the province to look at a different system for proportioning the budget not only for education but municipal taxes.
