The Stand Up for Oscars Place Group is having two meetings this weekend at the Oscars Place Homeless Shelter. The first meeting is set to take place tomorrow at 3PM where they will be giving the community an update on what the group has accomplished with running the Shelter since the last meeting and what needs to be done.
Tomorrows’ meeting is set to begin at 3PM. There will also be a meeting on Sunday at 2PM where there will be wrapping Christmas presents and talking about fundraising and programming for the Shelter.
Olivia McCorriston, The Chair for the Stand up for Oscars Place Group says that things have come along really well at the shelter and she is very pleased with the amount of community support the shelter has received.
