The Beatrice Wilson Health Centre is running a diabetes bingo tomorrow from 12:10 to 1PM and from 7PM to 7:50 PM. Shawn Yaremko from the Paskwayak Health Authority told CJAR that the purpose of the diabetes bingo is a fun and educational way to promote diabetes awareness.

There are five main arenas on the bingo cards which cover understanding diabetes, technology used for diabetes, physical fitness, foot care, and how foods affect diabetes. The bingo is part of the community wellness challenge and you do not have to be part of the challenge to participate but pre registration is required. If you wish to participate in the diabetes bingo you are asked to register ahead of time by calling 627-1134.
