The Oscars Place Homeless Shelter has a received a tremendous amount of kindness from the Town of The Pas. The Stand up for Oscars Group Chair Olivia McCorriston says because of the generosity and ongoing financial contributions from the people of The Pas. The Shelter has been able to move to a 12 hour shift. This means that clients can stay at the Shelter from 8 o'clock in the evening until 8 o'clock in the morning. UCN Nursing and Millwright Students also gathered around 400 pounds of food donations for the shelter.
