The Town of The Pas will be having an open house regarding the town’s sewage lagoon upgrades as it is now past its capacity. The community had an engineering firm come in to look at the various options to upgrade the lagoon to provincial standards.
The Town of The Pas Councilor Chad Zolinski told CJAR that the open house will give people the opportunity to meet with the management team from their engineering department and the engineering firm that conducted the study on the lagoon.
The Manitoba Water Services Board and Manitoba Conservation will also be there to provide some insight on what will be done to the lagoon. The open house is set to take place on October 25th at the town office council chambers between 4-7PM.
