Canoe enthusiast Mike Ranta and his dog Spitz have embarked on a cross Canada Canoe trip. The goal of the trip is to show appreciation and awareness for PTSD for first responders and to say happy birthday to Canada on its 150 anniversary.
Mike and Spitzes Journey began on April 1st in Bella Coola, British Columbia and will finish on Cape Breton Island. He recently made a stop in The Pas. You can learn more about Mike Ranta by following him on Facebook at "Mike Ranta’s Paddle."
