Manitoba Sustainable development and the office of the fire commissioner advise that hot dry and windy conditions have brought the wildfire danger levels up in many regions of the province. As a result burn permits have been canceled in Central and Eastern Manitoba.
Open burning is not permitted without a permit from April 1st until November 15th. If you have any questions about burn permits and restrictions in your area you can call your local Sustainable Development office.
