Margret Barber Collegiate Athletic Director Wendy Cull was present at Monday night’s Kelsey School Board meeting where she did a presentation to update the school board of the progress of the MBCI sports program.

The presentation  determined that only 12 girls and 15 boys in Grade 12 took part in school sports which is considered to be a low number in the upper grades. Cull, is hoping to encourage more students to get involved in sports at school and to get parents involved as well.

Cull says there are opportunities to earn bursaries and scholarships through sports and it’s a great way to meet people.
