About 19 residents are homeless after a fire ripped through a housing complex in
The Pas on Saturday.

According to Chief Fire Prevention officer Randy Manych, The fire occurred at
Tremauden Street and the fire crew’s received the page around 7:24 in the
morning. When the crews arrived the building was engulfed.

Red Cross has provided temporary living arrangements for the displaced families
to use until more permanent arraignments could be made.

The Pas Action Centre is accepting donations of household items, kids stuff, and
gift cards for the affected families which can be dropped off between four and
eight pm.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under
investigation.
