Karen Young is a single mother from OCN, whose seven year old needs to travel to Winnipeg for ADHD treatment. Karen has not been able to find treatment in The Pas due to a shortage of doctors. Traveling to Winnipeg is going to cost money and things have not been easy for Karen and her son.

Last Friday, Karen held a Beef Stew and Bannock Fundraiser at her home to help offset the travels costs and she hopes to have more fundraisers later on.
