This trapper’s festival the Kinsmen Club of The Pas will be welcoming National Dignitaries to the weeklong events. Every year the Kinsmen Club put in hundreds of volunteer hours into the dog sled races and this year will be no exception. Kevin Carlson, The Pas Kinsmen Club President said, “I cannot tell you just how thrilled we are to have our national president James Doerr and District Governor John DeBeer with us for trapper’s festival.”  Last year the club put in 1207 service hours to successfully run the World Championship 10 sled dog race, the Jack McPhail 6 dog race, Joe LeClerc 4 dog race and the Shell Kinsmen Junior race.
