It was a busy day for Health Professionals as the 3rd annual Northern Health Summit was held in The Pas yesterday. At the Annual general Meeting of the Northern Health Region CEO Helga Bryant said their strategic directions are to improve population health, deliver quality accessible and compassionate services, be sustainable and innovative organization, and be an employer of choice. The northern Health region administrative costs for 2015-16 totaled over 13 million dollars while total expenses reached over 98 million dollars. Throughout the day health leaders from across the Northern health region met in The Pas to discuss and explore health issues and identify priority concerns.
