The Provincial Election is set for next month and the candidates running in The Pas are almost set. Amanda Lathlin is the official candidate for the NDP party while Doug Lauvstad is for the PC’s. Prospective candidates include Tyler Duncan for the Liberal Party and Patrick Wood for GPM. The nominations close for the 41st General Election at 1:00 pm next Tuesday with candidate’s status changing from prospective to official.  Lathlin and the NDP will be holding their official campaign launch tonight at 4:45pm at 1416 Gordon Avenue with special guest Premier Greg Selinger.
