Medical patients coming to The Pas for health care services will now have somewhere to stay. Swampy Cree Tribal Council and the Town of The Pas have announced the land sale transaction of 157 Bell Avenue to build a 17,000 square foot facility with 30 rooms. Crystal Morrish Town of The Pas Deputy Mayor says it will help develop The Pas as a medical hub.The announcement was made at the previous Town Council meeting and the facility will be used for medical patients coming to The Pas from outside communities to receive health care services. Construction is to begin this summer.
