Socks from Santa is an annual campaign you can donate to. Every year 102.9 CJAR collects donations of warm winter clothing to donate to Oscar’s Place. Maureen Kozar 102.9 CJAR Station Manager says they got the idea 2 years ago from CJAR's sister station in Thompson, who ran the program, and had great success with it. It was the community, here in The Pas that really enabled it to take off, and with great results.This is the third year the program has run in The Pas. Over 450 pairs of socks have been donated this year. They will be taken to Oscars place this afternoon but you can donate right up until tomorrow.
