Manitoba Conservation reports rain throughout most of the province has reduced the fire danger level in most parts of the province. They report says wildfire crews continue with suppression operations on larger wildfires in the Davidson Lake, Harding Lake, Sherridon, Pukatwagan and Snow Lake areas. The fire ban has been lifted for the northwest region of the province. There are 10 active fires in the northwest region with 82 fires reported to date with almost 24 thousand hectares burned. 48 fires are active in the northeast region with 184 fires to date and just over 15 thousand hectares burned.
