The Swampy Cree Tribal Council will look to sever ties with MKO over a nuclear waste deal.
As reported by APTN the Seven northern Manitoba chiefs say they’ve lost faith in the grand chief of MKO. The fallout comes after MKO’s Grand Chief David Harper signed an agreement with a nuclear waste management organization. Mathias Colomb Cree nation Chief Arlen Dumas was unavailable for comment when we tried to reach him.
