The Manitoba Hotel Association has announced that the Wescana Inn in The Pas is the recipient of the MHA’s 2015 impact award.
The Wescana Inn has won the award for their support of the inaugural The Pas Storytellers Film Festival of Aboriginal and Northern Peoples. The Festival was held in March of 2014. Alan Gibb General Manager of the Wescana Inn said they’re always pleased to support the community events in The Pas. Bernard Friz who spearheaded the festival in The Pas said they could not have asked for a better venue. Alan Gibb General Manager of the Wescana Inn said that the hotel is pleased to support community events in The Pas. The award goes to a Manitoba Hotel that has made an impact for it’s employees, customers and community.
