This is the second year that 102.9 CJAR have ran their Socks from Santa program.  

Morning show host Mark Andrews says that last year was a huge success, with almost 400 pair of socks being donated along with other outerwear.  Andrews said this year they are encouraging people to donate of any type of warm winter clothing, or blankets, which will again all go to the homeless shelter.

Anyone wishing to make a donation can drop items off today from 8:30 to noon and 1 to 4:30 at 102.9 CJAR,  and next week they will all be delivered to Oscar's Place to be distributed to those in need..
