Recycling plastic grocery bags can not only help keep our community clean but it can help with a local project. Betty Hucksly has been collecting bags to be recycled in hopes of getting a new bench to put in front of Valhalla. Over the past few months, Hucksley has collected over 80,000 bags. The bags get stored at Scott Bateman School before they are trucked to the United States to be melted down. If you would like to help you can bring all your recyclable bags to Scott Bateman School.
