The Canadian Red Cross is looking for volunteers for their new Personal Disaster Assistance team that’s being established in the community.  Their Disaster Management Support in Northern Manitoba Cherlyn Cain explains it’s a team that would help people in times of personal disaster such as house fires and flooding so they’re looking to build teams in the north in particular The Pas, Flin Flon and Thompson.  She says they do have some started in The Pas and they’re working hard on getting The Pas and Flin Flon organized.
