The Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival is still a ways away but the candidates running for fur queen are finalized. Leading up to the week of Trappers the girls are expected to do fundraising, as well get themselves out there and get used to being in public. This year there are 9 girls entered in the race as opposed to 7 last year. During the week of Trappers the Girls will be busy throughout, stopping in at different events greeting and taking pictures.
