President of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, Dan Kelly met with Premier Greg Selinger to address the concerns of small business owners throughout Manitoba.

Manitoba business owners are consistently less satisfied with business environment than those in the western provinces. This explained Elliot Simms, with CFIB, is due to the challenges Manitoba faces.
Simms said CFIB has been lobbying the province for easier inter provincial trade, a stop to tax increases, and address the shortage of qualified labor in order to help small businesses thrive and survive.
