The OCN Storm further established their lead in the KJHL standings after a pair of dominant performances in back-to-back games against the NCN Flames.
By the end of the second period in game one, the Storm held a 4–2 lead. OCN then exploded for five unanswered goals in the third period to secure a 9–2 victory. Sunday’s game followed a similar script, as the Storm led 7–2 after two periods. Both teams added two goals in the third, giving OCN a 9–4 win.
Drew Peters recorded a hat trick in Sunday’s game. The Storm now ride a four-game winning streak heading into this weekend, where they will once again stay home and welcome NCN back for another two-game series.
