Some basketball action took place over the weekend for all four teams at MBCI. First off, congratulations to both JV teams on all their hard work organizing their first home tournament of the basketball season. The JV girls went on to win the tournament, while the JV boys finished second overall.

Both SV teams also impressed this past weekend. The SV boys were in Gimli and battled their way to the finals before unfortunately falling to Souris, placing second. Much like the boys, the SV girls also had a strong showing at their tournament at Kamsack Comprehensive Institute. The girls advanced to the tournament final but fell to Swan River, earning a second-place finish.

All four teams are back in action this weekend. The JV girls will be in Neepawa, the JV boys travel to Gimli, the SV girls head to Swan River, and the SV boys make the trek to Lorette.
