The Northern Manitoba Blizzard hit the road today for a pair of back-to-back games against division rival Virden and Winkler.

Virden enters the weekend riding a three-game winning streak and currently sits as the top contender in the MGEU West Division. Winkler, meanwhile, could head into Saturday’s matchup on an eight-game winning streak, pending the result of their game against Steinbach tonight.

Northern Manitoba will be focused on getting back into the win column and snapping a two-game losing skid. Puck drop for both games is set for 7:30 p.m.

102.9 CJAR will be live on location for both matchups, with the Funky Threadz pre-game show beginning at approximately 7:15 p.m.
