After falling to Steinbach this past weekend, the Blizz will now look ahead to not only tomorrow’s home matchup against Dauphin, but also this weekend’s doubleheader against Neepawa. With only three games left in 2025, earning points will be a must for Northern Manitoba. Puck drop for tomorrow’s matchup is set for 7:00 p.m., and 102.9 CJAR will have full coverage from start to finish.
In other hockey news, the OCN Storm continued their winning ways by picking up back-to-back wins against Cross Lake and Peguis at this past weekend’s KJHL Showcase. The KJHL All-Star Game also took place, and the Storm were well represented, with nine players and coach Ethan Constant in attendance. After the best-on-best contest wrapped up on Saturday, three Storm players took home post-game awards. Game MVP honours went to Cedrick Puffalt, Top Forward was earned by Hutton Foster, and the Best Goaltender award was given to Nolan Sinclair Jr.
The Storm will head into the league’s holiday break riding a seven-game winning streak. OCN will return to action in 2026 with a two-game homestand against the Norway House North Stars.
