Northern Manitoba Opens Two-Game Set Looking to Build Momentum

The Northern Manitoba Blizzard are back tonight and tomorrow for a two-game doubleheader against the Winnipeg Blues and the Neepawa Titans. The Blues enter tonight’s contest on a three-game losing streak, while the Titans are also coming off a loss to Portage but will look to bounce back tonight against Swan Valley.

Both teams previously edged out the Blizz in close matchups — on November 2nd, Northern Manitoba fell 3–2 to division rival Neepawa, and on November 7th, the Blues topped the Blizz with a 5–4 shootout win. However, with the Blizz coming off a 5–1 statement victory this past week against Swan Valley, Northern Manitoba will look to use that momentum to pick up more points before the Christmas break arrives.

Puck drop is set for 7:00 P.M. for both games. 102.9 CJAR will be broadcasting tomorrow’s matchup.
